Indonesian Masters 2023 Finals: Jonatan Christie Win Men's Single Title BWF Super 500

Indonesia got two titles in Indonesia Masters 2023, both from men's singles and men's doubles. Jonatan Christie and the pair Leo Rolly-Daniel Martin successfully became the winners at the BWF World Tour Super 500 Tournament.

All Indonesian finals happened in the men's singles event when Jonatan Christie met his compatriot Chico Aura Wardoyo on Sunday. Playing in Istora Senayan Jakarta, Jonatan versus Chico's game was interesting and managed to entertain spectators.

Chico attacked aggressively, while Jojo patiently tended to be defensive and gave his best. Jonatan beat Chico in a straight set 21-15 and 21-13.

Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Martin extended the record of winning the national men's doubles event from this tournament every year at Istora Senayan. Leo-Daniel defeated China's men's doubles pair, He Ji Ting and Zhou Hao Dong in the finals, with consistently playing from the beginning of the final round to a match point in the second game.

The Indonesian pair called The Babies, won 21-17 and 21-16 and won the title for the first time.
